Orpington/London: George Allen, 1900. Second Edition. Leather. Good. 3 vols. 432p; 442p; 171p. A complete set of three hardcover books bound in full blue leather with gilt foredges, five raised bands on each spine, and marbled endpapers. The spines and edges are heavily scuffed; the spines are also a bit tanned. Cracks forming along the edges of the spines, but binding remains internally tight. A few scrapes on the surfaces of the boards as well. Owner's bookplate inside each front cover and pencil notes on rear endpapers. Pages a bit age-toned, but text clean. The Victorian writer's autobiography in three volumes.
