Quarto (4to). Multiple works bound in one volume. The first part, [iv], 369 pages of text. Contains The Rosciad, The Apology, Night, The Prophesy of Famine, An An Epistle to William Hogarth, The Ghost In Four Books. Except for the first work, each work was issued with a half-title. The second part contains individually paginated works, each containing a half-title and a title page. They are: The Author [iv], 19 pages; The Conference (Second edition, 1764) [iv], 19 pages; The Duellist in Three Books (Second edition, 1764) [iv], 48 pages; Gotham Book I (1764) [iv], 24 pages; Gotham Book II (1764) [iv], 32 pages; The Candidate (1764) [iv], 38 pages. Original full leather binding with minor shelfwear, and front hinge cracking and weakened, remaining intact; protected in custom-fitted archival mylar. Previous owner's name neatly on a front endpaper, and initials neatly on the main title page. Except for a few smudges, the texts are clean and unmarked. First editions, except where stated..
