Bright, clean front cover; spine is clean, faded unevenly - titles clear; rear cover is scuffed/lightly soiled, faded at lower inside corner; rear cover fading and portion of lower spine due to damp exposure; slight fading on front cover at lower inside corner; tightly bound; very slight staining at end paper lower inside corners from damp; owner bookplate on front fly leaf 'Ellen Mudge Butler'; bright, clean interior. Not dated but cover design incorporates publisher name and copyright '1884'.
