Illustrated dustwrapper with black coloured titles to the front panel and red and black coloured titles to the back strip. This may be Julian Symons' masterpiece. It is a brilliant combination of psychological and police-procedural elements, with pure horror at its core. Slight darkening of the text block edges, a knock to the top edge of the rear board. Fading of the backstrip section of the dust jacket, with chipping at the head and tail of the backstrip section, and at the top and bottom of the front fold over crease with the rear fold over crease had being split at the bottom corner for approximately 0 .5 inches.
