Sobre este item
New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1939. Cloth. Very Good +/Very Good +. A very solid copy of the 1939 1st American edition of Gertrude Stein's slender --but timeless-- portrait of Picasso. Tight and VG+ (light foxing along a number of top-edges --and, less so, at the margins-- and along the fore-edge) in a crisp, price-intact ($3.00), VG+ dustjacket, with light chipping --and just a bit of creasing-- to the spine crown. Octavo, a generous sampling of the artist's work complements Stein's text.
