Sobre este item

Toronto: Macmillan of Canada. Very Good+ in Very Good dust jacket. 1972. First Edition. Hardcover. 0770508669 . DJ shows some shelf wear, sun-faded on spine. ; A tight solid book. Dust jacket in Mylar jacket protector. ; Large 8vo 9" - 10" tall; 219 pages; Some years before the American Revolution, the Governor of Nova Scotia encouraged New England Yankees to move to Nova Scotia resulting the immigration of about 12,000 to that Eastern province. When the Revolution happened these immigrants did not rise in concert with those south of the border. The author proposes that this might have been due to a religious revival inspired by Henry Alline known as the Great Awakening, that this revival changed their social awareness. .

Sobre Ainsworth Books

Ainsworth Books was for many years a bricks and mortar store in Vancouver, BC. When we acquired the store, we moved to a location in Delta. After three years we moved the stock home and started operation as an online, by appointment only operation. I have worked with books my whole adult life and enjoy giving recommendations.
