William Makepeace Thackeray, 1811-1863, was a very prolific Victorian era author. This volume consists of his travel writing and sketches. Gray cloth has darker smudges like from fingerprints, just a touch of corner wear, spine ends lightly compressed, title panel on spine worn, intact, lettering clear. Top edge gilt. Fore-edge and bottom edge rough cut. Former owner name on endpaper. Pages very clean with wide margins, no markings of any kind, lightly toned-wonderful condition.
