Faithful replication of the text, originally published in Great Britain in 1810 (see Halkett & Laing IV, 272). Editor's introduction and notes. One of an unspecified number of copies, printed by Ballantyne, Hanson & Company at the Ballantyne Press. A good copy with perished spine; slight stains, rubbing and wear to covers; inner hinges starting and weakening; previous owner's bookplate on front free endpaper; slight internal browning to edges and endpapers.
