Some wear to the corner tips and spine ends. A little spotting and a few streaks to both boards near the fore-edges. Text block edges slightly dusty and have a few minor marks. Inside pages are clean and unmarked, with slight toning. No dust jacket. A reprint of the classic work of exploration in the western U.S. and his encounters with indigenous people. Illustrated with four colour plates including the frontispiece. .
