Dark blue coloured boards with gilt titles to the backstrip. A little bumping to the lower backstrip edge and rubbing to the top edge. Light browning to the text block edges. Some age toning to the internal text. Illustrated dustwrapper, being a reproduction of a portrait of Antonia White and on the rear dustwrapper panel a black-and-white photograph of her as a young girl. Dark blue coloured background with white titles to the front panel and backstrip. Rubbing and and creasing to the dustwrapper edges and to the dustwrapper panels. Clipping of the dustwrapper, front fold over, lower right-hand corner. In this book Antonia White's daughter, Susan Chitty, has brought together and annotated works, that were found after her mother's death. 16 chapters of her early autobiography, up to the age of six, some stories, essays, memorabilia and several poems.
