This is a catalogue of the first exhibition of pieces belonging to members of the Southeast Asian Ceramic Society held in Kuala Lumpur in 1981. There is an essay by Lim Suan Poh on nyonya ware as well as detailed descriptions by the two authors of the items exhibited. Near Fine in a Near Fine Dust Jacket First Edition There are 15 pages of colour photos and 78 pages of black and white photos in this 128 page book. Weight: 0.7.kg. Apart from a faint trace of rubbing on the jacket edge and a loss of freshness of the pages, the book looks new.

The Penang Bookshelf was set up in mid 2010 principally to introduce Malaysian residents to the variety of books there is available about the country both past and present. We only stock fiction and non-fiction related to Malaysia and the rest of Asia. Much of our current stock of over a thousand different titles is not available in Malaysia.
