Sobre este item

Wellington, New Zealand: A.H. & A.W. Reed, 1967. 4to size blue clothbound hardcover with photo illustrated dust jacket; unpaginated. 55 colour plates with text on the page preceding each plate. From dust jacket: "No previous book has attempted to present the New Zealand countryside in full-colour, based on colour photographs from a single source ,and with text written by a New Zealand poet... Not only did the (photographers) visit familiar scenic areas, but they travelled to more removed place and captured also the unsuspected beauties along the route. The coverage they achieve embraces the whole country and gives a ... picture of New Zealand in its great variation of scene and setting." Jacket has much wear and tear with creasing and chipping. A large chip from bottom front of jacket is tucked into the book. There is an inscription and notation on fep. Top back corner of cover and all pages are bumped. . Cloth. Good/Poor. Illus. by Bigwood, Kenneth & Jan. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
