1873 Publisher: James R. Osgood and Company, 1873. First Edition, first printing dated 1873 on the title page. Hardcover. viii + 399 pp + Index & 24 pp ads. Large folding Map is missing as is the front end paper. Covers have some moderate wear, spine is lightly sunned. 1872 Map of Boston along with 4 other Maps and 11 City Plans. A good example of an exceedingly uncommon title in first printing. NOT a library copy. This book is part of a very large collection we have just purchased & taken in from a long-time collector and local AMC & White Mountain historian here in NH. Consisting of over 1500 items. It is one of the largest collections of White Mountains & AMC material that we have ever seen, in private hands that is. If you need or want anything having to do with this field it is likely that we have it or can get it as we know boast the largest collection of like material (Books, Maps, Paper, Stereo's & CDV's, etc...) for sale in the world.
