Contains black and white illustrated plates, one of which is detached but present. Pages are bright with moderate tanning and foxing to free endpapers and text block edges. Presentation plate stuck to front free endpaper, with ink drops and a few small nicks along text block edge. Moderate cracking to hinge and gutters, with exposed netting. Binding remains mostly firm. Visible thumb-marking present throughout. Plates are bright, with moderate tanning and foxing to edges. Boards have light shelf-wear with mild corner bumping and slight crushing to spine ends. Book has a notable forward lean. Light tanning to spine.
