The text is illustrated with black-and-white photographs. Blue coloured boards with gilt coloured titles to the backstrip. The story of Nancy Wake, who, during World War II was a member of the French underground and who thumbed her nose at the Nazi regime during its occupation of France. Softening and rubbing of the back strip edges which also shows quite noticeable sunning; with patchy fading of the gilt coloured titles. Bumping, rubbing and minor fraying of the book corners with handling marks stains and sunning to the book edges and panels. Tanning and some foxing of the text block edges and tanning of the pages.
