Black cloth gilt stamped on spine, quite clean and unmarked, slight wear to extremities. Sewn binding is tight and solid. Pages are quite clean with much underlined text throughout and marginal symbols by text. Text remains quite readable, underlining is neat. Rear endpapers have notes handwritten by former owner. Munich is a story every generation should know--on September 29, 1938, Neville Chamberlain of Great Britain and Edouard Daladier of France met with Il Duce and Der Fuehrer in the town of Munich, to conclude negotiations to avert World War II at the sacrifice of Czechoslovakia.
