First Edition. blue cloth, gilt lettering on spine, name written ffep, Samuel Weiser book sticker inside front paste down, 241 pages, 8.5" tall x 5.5" wide, DJ wrapped in mylar, 1" tear along top spine, bottom front corner creased, DJ front flap price cut, book publisher stamp title page. near fine/near fine. This hitherto unpublished novel was found amongst the author's papers on her premature death in 1946. The central character is the same as in The Sea Priestess to which earlier work this book, although complete in itself, is a sequel.
