Large 4to (32.1 x 24.5 cm). vi, 107 pp.; 20 text engravings, seven plates, of which five heliographs, and two large, folded, full colour, being a map (1: 50,000) and series of profiles. Later stiff, green wrappers. = A detailed description of the geology of a part of the western, French Alps, with fine photos of several mountains, and a very large, folded map. Inscribed and signed by the author, the French geologist Eugène Paul Antoine Jacques Raguin (1900-2001 - i.e., perhaps the only geologist who lived in three centuries!) to the Austrian geologist Leopold Kober (1883-1970). A very good, clean copy.
