Abb., Broschur, Tadell. - Nicht nur als Maler und Bildhauer, sondern auch als Architekt, Lehrer, Typograf und Produktgestalter trug Bill (*1908) bis zu seinem Tod 1994 Wesentliches zum kulturellen Leben im 20. Jahrhundert bei. Sein Schaffen wurde 2008 vom Kunstmuseum Winterthur und dem Gewerbemuseum in zwei Ausstellungen dargestellt. Das dazu erschienene Buch versucht der Vielfältigkeit von Bills Tätigkeit gerecht zu werden, indem 14 Autorinnen und Autoren einzelne Aspekte davon behandeln. Aufsätze gelten den Überlegungen zur konkreten Kunst und zur 'guten Form', der Zeit als Schüler am Bauhaus und als Lehrer an der Ulmer Hochschule für Gestaltung, den malerischen Anfängen wie Fragen der Denkmal-, der Ausstellungs- und Buchgestaltung. Mit Textbeiträgen von Hans Jörg Glattfelder, Rudolf Koella, Bruno Reichlin, Karin Gimmi, Eugen Gomringer, Arthur Rüegg, Max Graf, Claude Lichtenstein, Hans Rudolf Bosshard, Dieter Schwarz, Peter Hahn und Adrian Mebold. Eine ausführliche Biografie von Sandra Gianfreda sowie ein Bildessay von Manuel Gasser runden die Publikation ab. 010

Invoices are to be paid within 15 days. For first orders we reserve delivery after payment in advance. In case of delay of payment, the second reminder is charged at an extra cost of CHF 10.00. Also, other additional costs are charged to the customer.
Sales return
In the event of a well-founded claim, the merchandise can be returned upon consultation within 14 days. If the claim turns out to be unsubstantiated, or the damage is the result from improper handling by the customer etc., all the costs are charged to the customer. Returns are only accepted with the invoice enclosed. Damages during shipment have to be notified within 48 hours. Otherwise the refund expires. Return upon dissatisfaction is excluded.
Place of venue
We are subject only to Swiss law. Place of venue is Zurich.
