Sobre este item

Axel Petre, Linkoping: 1828-1829., 1828 pp. 38 (8)[Printed Register] + **Interleaved with numerous blank leaves, filled with early (1829) manuscript corrections, additions, etc. 24 mo. 135 mm. Original stiff marbled paper wraps. This is a very early Swedish Freemason's register, containing members and officers for several different lodges. It is also a handy 'Who's Who' and general directory of church and government officials, professionals, military officers, nobility, etc. in Linkoping, Sweden and the surrounding region. Corrected and updated (to 1829) in manuscript. Linkoping is an ancient city in southern middle Sweden. Its current population is over 100000. Linkoping is also the episcopal see of the Diocese of Linkoping (Church of Sweden) and is well known for its cathedral. Linkoping is the center of an old cultural region that dates back to 13th century. Nowadays, Linkoping is known for its university and its high-technology industries (including Saab aircraft engines). This little Masonic guide is extremely scarce. We can locate no other examples in any library world wide. **PRICE JUST REDUCED! SAFE ADD 1. Soft cover. Very Good.
