Publisher's side-stapled binding in the original wrappers, printed in red and black with a portrait of Mark Twain on the front cover and an ad for McPhail Pianos on the rear. Spine slightly skewed; wrappers soiled, creased and somewhat worn, with a couple minor bruises and some light dampstaining. Text block brown and brittle, some tears in the gutter margin; title leaf nearly detached; edges worn. Good. Initially published in 1892 by The Clemens Publishing Company in San Francisco.
