Trade paperback edition, a first trade paperback edition from Washington Square, 1991. A National Book Critic Circle Award finalist, the story follows the lives of several members of the Hampson family from the Great Depression through the Vietnam War. This is not a remainder, not a library discard. No writing on the text pages, no former ownership marks. No creases to the cover or spine. There is sun fading to the spine, with a portion of the spine being a lighter shade of red than as printed. Also some smudge marks to the edges of the text block from use. The attached photo is of the copy we have in our inventory, not stock photos.

Some of our books are large format hardcovers that can cost quite a bit when shipped expedited. So I would like to make sure that I can cover the cost upfront. However, if the actual cost of expedited shipping is less than the charge, I will refund the difference!
