Sobre este item

Oxford: Oxford at the Clarendon Press, 1960. Hardcover. xix, 417p., second printing after the '59 first issue, hardbound in 0UP's inspired black cloth boards gilt and enclosed in the pictorial dust jacket. An excellent copy, with a couple flaws: firstly, a gap-line standing between title page and frontis (a line map); this gap is about one sixteenth of an inch wide with a hint of fabric showing, casing remains soundly holding the textblock, nothing at risk, aesthetic damage. Secondly, a not particularly winsome ownership w/address on front free endpaper. Thirdly, the (unclipped) dust jacket is mildly rubbed and edgeworn. All in all, a good to very good exemplar of a handsome book, with delightful content.
