UK: George Routledge & Sons, 1879. Book. Fair. Hardcover. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. This small book on the life of Nelson was a school prize in 1879, there is a school prize label on the front paste down saying ' The Collegiate School Queens Park, Glasgow, Session 1879 - 80 1 Prize awarded to William Todd class (Third ) for marked excellence in Writing, English and Arithmetic Head Masters Boys School W.E. Christie M.A. - Young Ladies School William Cairns.' The ribbed spine has wear on the head and base and down the side hinge the gilt lettering is still bright, the boards are bumped at the corners and lightly rubbed, the school coat of arms on the front boards is worn. The text block has gilt edges and the page faces are foxed . however the book is still square and tight. Book price includes 2nd class parcel post in UK only..
