A variety of curious and interesting particulars, relative to painting, sculpture and architecture. The author Thomas Nugent was an erudite Irish historian and travel writer. The English edition was published in 1772. Elegant binding, raised bands spine labels printed in gilt. Bookplates front cover pastedown, inch loss head of title page toward margin not affecting title description.
