New York: A.L. Burt Company, 1914. Hardcover. Fine/Very Good. Reprint in Burt's Home Library. 12mo. With a frontispiece plate. Publisher's maroon cloth, gilt spine, gilt top. A fine copy in very good printed dust jacket: with lettering and the publisher's series device printed in black and orange on the front panel and spine, a publisher's advertisement printed in black on the back panel, and a publisher's catalog: "A List of Four Hundred and Fifty Titles Published in Burt's Home Library. Price $1.25 per Volume." printed on the inside of the jacket. The publisher's address printed on the jacket is 114-120 East 23d Street, thus our attribution of the date. After the death of Albert L. Burt in 1913, the business was continued by his sons Harry, Frederick and Edward and moved "the next year" [1914] to 114-120 East Twenty-third Street. (*DLB* 49 - *Lucile Project*). An early jacketed Dickens' title.
