Sobre este item
Oxford: At the Clarendon Press, 1788 Book. Poor. Disbound. [vi], 28, [2] pages. ESTC T125896. Disbound, pages measure approximately 27.5 x 22cm. Page edges are untrimmed and frayed. Has perhaps suffered from damp at some point. Inner margins are softer paper than the rest of the page. Tear to the inner margin of the title page. Browning and some soiling to page edges throughout. Title page stained and spotted. Ink numbers and name written by the title - Dovaston Ch: Ch: Some pencil numbers on the opposite side of the page. Pages have also been torn down the spine, presumably when they were removed from a binding, so now almost separate leaves. Some tears to page edges. The final leaf contains a written description of off shore fortifications at Cherbourg on one side, the other side being blank. .
