Illustrated dustwrapper with white coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. "The Legion of Noble Christians describes in detail the wild pilgrimage of Bronx-born Buck Sweeney, freeloader, Irish buffoon, swinger, and sometime-Catholic, across contemporary Europe to search out, honor, and indelibly perpetuate, under the auspices of the Wettlaufer Foundation, the deeds of those noble Christians who, in a variety of ways, had aided Jews in eluding death at the hands of the Nazis"  from the front fold over panel blurb. Rubbing of the book edges with tanning of the text block edges and age toning of the pages. Some Chipping to the back strip edges and rubbing of the other dustwrapper edges and of the panels.
