George Bell and Sons, 1895. Hardback. Very Good/No Jacket. Ida Lovering. New edition hardback with additional poems, introduction by Charles Dickens and illustrations by Ida Lovering, 1895, with no jacket as published. In overall very good used condition with only minor signs of handling and storage - original dark blue faux leather covers, with bright gilt titles to spine and front panel, are particularly clean and crisp. Internally clean. Binding tight and appears little read, no annotations - minor inscription in pencil to half-title page; gilt page-ends remain bright, tanning to prelims and a little minor spotting here and there, but text, decorated endpapers and illustrations clean and clear throughout. Retains tissue-paper guard to frontispiece. Not an old library book. Photograph available.
