Sobre este item
Andover: Mark Newman, 1822. First American Edition. Octavo. In three volumes: vii, 536, vii, 528 and vii, 574, (2) pp. The last (2) pages of volume 3 are from the publisher noting a discrepancy in the arrangement. Lectures on the Philosophy of the Human Mind was published posthumously in 1820, because of his sudden death at the age of 42. The book proved immensely popular. It ran to no fewer than twenty editions, the last edition being published forty years after its first publication. A very nice, clean set without foxing, rebound in 1/4 white cloth over blue paper covered board, paper spine labels lettered in black, no names or bookplates.
