Boston and New York: Houghton Mifflin and Company. Used - Very Good. 1903. First edition. Cloth, xi [5] 281 pp., illustrated. Frontispiece. Original dark green cloth with spine in gilt and decoratively stamped front board in gilt and three colors. Spine a bit cocked, with ffep and half title page a bit loose, but still attached; rear hinge is starting, binding still solid. There is some minor wear to cloth at extremities. Cloth on front board and spine is wavy, although it shows no sign of damage. Overall, a bright, attractive copy. Very good. Howes A-402. (Subject: Americana & Regional History.)
