There has been considerable interest in improving the fission models in the LAHET Monte Carlo code for the transport and interaction of nucleons, pions, muons, light ions, and antinucleons. Although subactinide fission contributes little to neutron production in lead or tungsten targets, it can be significant for simulation of target activation and fission product contamination. Benchmark calculations made with the LAHET code system are presented of differential neutron production cross sections for 113 MeV neutrons and 256 MeV incident protons. Results are compared with recent data from Los Alamos National Laboratory experiments. The examples shown document the use of new physics model options incorporated into the LAHET Monte Carlo code. The experimental cases considered are beryllium, carbon, oxygen, aluminum, iron, tungsten, lead, and depleted uranium at 113 MeV and beryllium, carbon, oxygen, aluminum, iron, lead, and depleted uranium at 256 MeV. The compared angles are 7.5 degrees, 30 degrees, 60 degrees, and 150 degrees.
