Sobre este item

New York: W.W.Norton, 1949. Very good (black covers show some rubbing and light edgewear with a tiny, quarter-inch closed tear at the top of the spine) in good only dust jacket (intact and salvaged in a plastic cover but with heavy edgewear, including small missing chips, and one long closed tear down one of the flap folds and into the front panel; doesn't actually look too bad in the plastic cover; all four corners of the inner flaps are clipped so no price shows). Written by a white southerner before the Brown v. Board of Education decision, the book deals most specifically with the psychological toll on the white south because of the conflicts they live with stemming from slavery and segregation.. 1st Edition. Hard Cover.
