Sobre este item

Print Matters Heritage. Cape Town 2016.. No inscriptions. An as-new unmarked copy.. Printed wraps. 212pp illustrated colour 285mm x 215mm. 1.1kg. The Keiskamma Art Project founded in 2000 provides work for over a hundred people in the tiny East Cape Settlement of Hamburg. Members collaborate to produce art works, especially in tapestry, some of which have been exhibited internationally. This volume illustrates their work comparing it with similar European works such as the Bayeaux tapestry and major altar pieces. Their tapestries are proudly part of major ecclesiastical and educational locations in South Africa
