Several folding illustration plates containing maps and charts.<br><br>William Scoresby was an English Arctic explorer, scientist and clergyman. He began the study of meteorology and natural history during his voyage of 1807. He received a degree from Cambridge, and published this and other works relating to the polar regions.<br><br>A bright, clean copy of this unique volume in very good condition.
