This issue covers the 1939 World's Fair in a New York and, specifically, the Japanese Pavilion there. The magazine has collections of photos depicting life and special sites in Japan. The articles vary from picturing and describing successful businessmen, to a Japanese travelogue, to discussing Japanese- American relations. There is also a very interesting piece on Japan and America's symbolic flame of friendship that burned outside the Japanese Pavilion of the 1939 World's Fair.
