Sobre este item

London : Cassell, 1965. First edition . Hardcover (Original Cloth). Fair Condition/Fair. Octavo. Binding is tight and spine fully intact but spine is cocked Text body is clean and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting Both front and back endpapers are foxed, text appears to be free of foxing Edges are very browned The book is in fair condition but still a very readable copy For too long, believes John Laffin, the image of the German soldier has been distorted by the atrocities of the Nazis. In "Jackboot", the author gives the ordinary German soldier his due, tracing his background and influences from the time of Frederick the Great to the end of World War II. B & W photos
