Anglo-Irish writer and diplomat Sir John Randolph Leslie, Bart (1885-1971) converted to Roman Catholicism and became a supporter of Irish Home Rule; he was witness to the negotiations resulting in the Treaty between Ireland and England. This is a Very Good copy of the first American Edition. Light green cloth binding with dark green lettering. Clean text; 207 pages; endpapers typically foxed. The spine has darkened, and the margins are rubbed (to a fray at the crown of the spine. An uncommon book by a witness to history. Lacking a dustjacket. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. First American Edition.. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket.
