Sobre este item

London: Collins, 1947. Fascinating book containing 99 colour photographs of living insects and 7 coloured photographs of preserved specimens by S. Beaufoy, E.J. Hudson and others. 104 photographs in black and white. 8 distribution maps and 40 diagrams. Bound in the publishers original green cloth with gilt title lettering to spine. Boards and spine have faded which seems commonplace with this title, otherwise binding is tight and square. The 317 pages remain in clean, presentable condition with no inscriptions. The text is superbly supplemented by the photographs, maps and diagrams.. First Edition. Very Good/No Jacket.
