First Edition and publisher's code D-O (indicating publishing date of April, 1939) stated on copyright page. Very Good+, pages age-toned, but clean, water stain to lower spine, age-toning to spine label, light bumping and rubbing to extremities, in Fair, worn, dust jacket with heavy age-darkening and several tears and pieces missing.
