Covers show shelf wear, scuffing on corners and spine edges and some loose threads, some tiny tears on spine edges, sun damage on spine. Gilt on spine and front cover. Faint soil mark on back cover. Front hinge broken but intact, back hinge fine. Text block fairly tight, normal age toning and some scattered foxing throughout and on foreedges. Traces of old bookplate on front end paper. Engraved illustrations scattered through text block. Overall tight, nice copy. .
