Illustrated with vintage photographs and reproductions. The second edition, a facsimile reissue of the April, 1939 Vol. No. 1 of the Railroadians of America publication. Contains the orignal preface and the Preface to the Second Edition. This publication was the first to be issued by the then-newly formed Railroadians of America organization. The New York, Susquehanna and Western Railroad was formed in 1881from the merger of several smaller roads such as the New York and Oswego Midland (later the New Jersey Midland), the Middletown, Unionville and Water Gap, the New York, Ontario and Western.
