This piece of Sir Walter Scott's classic literature comes in green boards with gold lettering on the spine and gold-gilted top closed book page edge. The book's exterior is in Very Good+ to Near Fine condition with only lightly worn spots on its corners and at the top and bottom of its spine. The interior book, however, is in Near Fine to Fine condition with no visible extraneous markings, detriments, or distractions throughout the book, and thus all of the printing and the illustrative plate opposite the title page are all in a very well-preserved and enjoyable condition and the book's bindings remain tight and therefore are sound.
