L. Stevenson, Bram Stoker, & more. Edward Gorey personally selected these as some of his favorites, & prefaced each story with a full-page, pen-and-ink illustration, as well as drawing the haunting cover art, which graces the front, back, & spine. In 311 pages, with About the Authors & listing of other Looking Glass titles in rear. With rose/purple/white/black paper-covered boards, this hardcover 8vo is in VG- condition: mild-moderate edgewear, including rubbing to extremities & bumped corners & spine tips. Binding is secure & straight, pages creamy white & completely unmarked. NO DJ.
