Sobre este item
Garden City, NY: Grosset and Dunlap, 1919. First Edition, Thus. Hardcover with Blue Boards. Good/Good. 1919 Reprint of a classic book which even today is an enjoyable read. This copy is well-preserved in original dust jacket. Jacket is worn with a few chips and tears but is now well protected. The pages are toned and the book is rubbed but very respectable for its age. Pages 69-71 were torn and repaired but complete. There is a former owners bookplate on the front pastedown. A nice original copy and one that is eminently readable as well.
Sinopse
The Haunted Bookshop speaks of the ghosts that inhabit all places of books - "the ghosts of all great literature." Christopher Morley's suspenseful 1919 novel continues the story of the bookseller from Parnassus on Wheels, Roger Mifflin, whose character underlines the wisdom and knowledge to be gained from literature and makes allusions and references to many famous works.

Sobre Librariana Fine Books
We believe that a library is much more than a room or a space. A library is a place to work, rest, love, think and dream. It is the heart of the home.
Our mission is to help individuals, families and organizations furnish their bookspaces in a way that reflects their personality and values.
Beginning with fine books, and extending to other "librariana" - art, antiques and collectibles that make a space a library. We also repair books, and consult with home owners, organizations and bookstore owners looking to make their bookspaces into purposeful sanctuaries.
Whether your bookspace is a corner shelf in a bedroom, or a grand corporate space for meetings and work, Librariana can help "improve your library".
