Philadelphia: J B Lippincott Co, circa 1903. Full leather. Fine. 872p quarto, 3 volumes in 1 edited and translated from the third German edition by Lewellys F Barker (U of Chicao). Preface by Franklin P Mall (Hohns Hopkins) Spalteholz (1861-1940) was a Leipzig physician and Anatomist. This work contains some of the most widely recignized anatomic illustrations in modern medicine. The voloumes were publihed in English between 1901-1903. A fine copy rebound in brown leather , new endpapers.
