Sobre este item
London: Guinness Superlatives Limited, 1965. First for each year. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Guinness World Records, known from its inception in 1955 until 1999 as The Guinness Book of Records and in previous United States editions as The Guinness Book of World Records, is a British reference book published annually, listing world records both of human achievements and the extremes of the natural world. The brainchild of Sir Hugh Beaver, the book was co-founded by twin brothers Norris and Ross McWhirter in Fleet Street, London, in 1955.
This group of three early editions from the 1960's are the "true", (i.e. UK) first editions for each year.
All three volumes are very good, with just minor fading of the cloth bindings at the top edges and minor edge wear. The 1969 volume has the ink name of a previous owner on the ffep, but there are no other marks or damage to the text of any of the volumes. All three have their original dust jackets,, with minor edge chipping. The 1967 volume has a 2" tear at the bottom of the jacket front, but no loss.. CH.
