New York: Harrison Smith and Robert Haas, 1933. First Edition. Hardcover with Dust Jacket. Fine/Very Good. 8vo. Pp. ix, [3], 13-368. Frontis. illustration printed in black and red, of a social-realism poster. With spectacular social realism endpapers, also red-and-black, with cyrillic title. Bound in red cloth with boards blindstamped with elaborate geometric pattern, gilt lettering stamped on spine. In the color illustrated dust jacket that shows light edge-wear and shallow chips at head and tail of spine. The pictorial dust jacket by Arthur Hawkins, Jr., presents the designer's take on social realism, depicting a row of tractors trudging upward across a blue field. Dust jacket is now preserved in a removable, clear archival sleeve.

All books are packed and shipped within 24 hours of receipt of order. Every book is professionally packaged in a heavy cardboard box and shipped via US Postal Service, fully insured. Shipping rates are $3.50 per book; an additional $1 for every book thereafter. Sets and oversized volumes might require additional postage – indication of such will be noted in the book description. Those orders ship at cost. Other shipping modes are available per arrangement. Institutions will be billed per requirements.
