Chicago and New York: Rand, McNally & Company, 1895. The first appearance of "Keinplatz" was in a periodical (1885). This is a Very Good (Plus) copy of the First Edition of this collection, which contains six other stories. There is no publication date, but McNally brought out a paper edition in 1894; Quercus suggests that 1895-96 is a probable time frame. Not a common title. Red cloth binding, with ttling, ruling, and a decoration in gilt on the front cover. Clean text; 232 pages. Top edge is gilt; others deckle. Light fade to the spine (gilt remains bright), and a faint 1" stain to the front cover. No dustjacket; in an archival plastic protector.. First American Edition.. Hard Cover. Very Good (Plus)/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
