It easily absorbs other stains and is a medium- hard wood which makes it strong, yet pliable. It is symbolic of our journey through life and the transformation which takes place over the years. We absorb different philosophies as we develop and that colors or influences our lives. We learn to be strong, but flexible when change is needed.
